San Jose Costa Rica Temple

             
        The San Jose Costa Rica Temple was the first temple in Costa Rica and the second one in Central America. Lynn G. Robbins is responsible for having this temple built. Construction started in 1999 and it was completed in May 2000. The temple was dedicated by James E. Faust. It is 10,700 square feet and 71 feet in height. The purpose of this temple was for the people of Costa Rica to not have to spend most of their money on a trip to the Guatemala Temple. It is located in the capital of Costa Rica.
