Rio Celeste

The Celeste River is a naturally formed landmark, located in Northern Costa Rica. The river has such popularity because of its striking color, a light blue that easily resembles the sky. As much as one would like to make up stories behind the color of the river, it has been deduced that the color comes from the sulfur and calcium carbonate mixing together.
The river also runs through the rain forest and is lined with hot springs. It even has a waterfall, where many tourists take dips in the pool at the bottom.
