Costa Rican Center of Science and Culture

The Costa Rican Center of Science and Culture is a complex located in San Jose towards the center of the country. The building dates back to 1909, built to serve as a prison until the year 1979.
The large building contains the National Gallery that boasts fourteen galleries, the National auditorium used for several art forms and congresses, the Museum of Children and the Youth Knowledge Center, which both serve the younger generation in learning.
In the fifteen years that the building was abandoned, it was said to be haunted by those that had died in the building.
